We often hear the phase ‘conventional MSD’. It doesn’t sit right. MSD was codified as unconventional development. There are three fundamental pillars around scale, sustainability, and impact. Everything else is a pragmatic reflection about the best way to deliver on those pillars. Anything goes, as long as you can justify it in these terms, there’s nothing ‘un-MSD’ about it.
Here we’ve used Agora’s programme design pyramid to reflect on how innovations within MSD against various parameters and characteristics of programmes have been introduced over time.
